This is for a Remanufactured 5.44 NON HD Mercury verado lower unit these units are painted black. These are NOT the hd 5.44 which normally come silver and with a 1.25in propshaft. these lowers require a mercury Flo-Torq II hub system These gear cases come in 1.85 ratio and are available in left (counter) and right (standard) rotation They are available in 20in 25in and 30in shaft lengths. Please specify when ordering your shaft length and rotation There are two different versions of the Verado lower unit. There is a small hub and a large hub. If you have a small hub lower unit, the hub will measure 4.8" across the hub. If you have a large hub heavy duty gearcase the hub will measure 5.4" 8M0049863 20in or L 8M0049864 25 or XL 8M0049866 30in or XXL

Core Requirements:
• Core must be complete and usable
• Core cannot be locked up
• Core cannot have a hole.
